Studio Chiara Caberlon was born from a design vision that combines architectural rigour, material sensitivity and a profound attention to the dialogue between space, light and identity. This is the context in which Chiara Caberlon and designer Polina Mironenko collaborated to create a collection of lamps for Cerasarda.
The mediterranea collection stems from the encounter between two complementary sensibilities and a profound dialogue with Mediterranean nature: organic shapes, soft volumes and surfaces that evoke natural elements such as shells, wind smoothed rocks, coral and coastal vegetation. The collection interprets ceramic as a living material, capable of capturing and diffusing light with ever changing vibrations, turning each lamp into a sculptural object in which craftsmanship and contemporary research merge, in a language that celebrates the landscape, the material and manufacturing knowledge.
This collection draws its essence from the majesty of marine life and the vivid tones of Mediterranean nature. Each Stella Maris lamp is a work of artisanal art holding a story of beauty and sea: the ceramics feature sinuous shapes recalling the grace of starfish, the fascinating outlines of seashells and the unmistakable textures of coral. These luminous creations capture the spirit of the Mediterranean through their colours, the deep blue of the waters, the bright green of seaweed and the intense red of sunsets.
The Nest collection is born from the desire to recreate an environment that is a true refuge, a place where protection and warmth wrap around and reassure. These lamps are designed to diffuse a warm, enveloping light, creating an intimate, homely atmosphere: the texture evokes the delicacy of a nest, filtering light in a soft, diffused way.
Made with an interwoven ceramic technique, the Nest collection does more than illuminate, it transforms the space: light and shadow meet in a dynamic play, recalling the gentle movement of tree branches stirred by the wind.
